The most exciting part of visiting Yellowstone Park has to be seeing wild life in their natural environment. You never know when or where they are going to show up. Seeing many cars parked by the roadside and crowds with cameras and binos/scopes all pointing in one direction is a good sign that there is wild life nearby.... the closest we experienced were a herd of Bisons crossing the road right in front of our car. The Grizzly Bear was what we really wanted to see... One mother bear appeared with her coy( less than 1 year old baby) There was so much excitement.... by the time we spotted them the whole road was jammed and the rangers were trying to make sure the crowds were not stressing them. Caught a glimpse but unfortunately did not managed to get a photo.
