Death Valley

After Grand Canyon, we drove out to Death Valley. Another beautiful place with great rock formations and salt plains.

The Grand Canyon

Back visiting after more than 25 years ....   the place is still as beautiful as i remembered it. There was a heavy snowstorm the afternoon we arrived and visibility was near zero. There was nothing else to do except to take shelter in the room and hope that tomorrow's weather will be better. Saw many bus loads of disappointed tourists on days trips.

Luckily the weather did clear up the next morning and despite the extreme cold, we head out to catch sunrise and got great views .
